Scholarship for International Students 2007

(Undergraduate programs)

In 2007, Yuan Ze University will offer a selection of prestigious scholarships to promising international high school graduates for higher education.  Through this new grant, talented students will be allocated with a selective package of scholarship along with student’s admission.  The package of the 2007 Yuan Ze Scholarship includes free tuition, accommodation and free Chinese language courses.  Yuan Ze University aims to provide students with quality education to develop skills and perspectives that will enable students to compete successfully in Asia as well as the global environment.

Eligibility

Typical applicants are as follows:

l          Applicant must be a high school graduate who is non-citizen of ROC.

l          Applicant must complete and submit the application form.

Benefits

Admitted international students are automatically granted with free accommodation for four studying years (currently, the cost is estimated NT$25,200 per year).  Free tuition will also be provided for the first year.  Students who continue to perform outstandingly may apply for tuition waiver for subsequent years, on a year-to-year basis.  The benefits are subject to the scholarship committee’s term reviews.  Review results may serve as justification for benefit obtaining in the subsequent year. The benefit package may not exceed four academic years.
